Erik Kriek

Erik Kriek (Amsterdam, 1966) is probably best known for 'Gutsman', his widely acclaimed, wordless comic books, spinning the tale of the dubious 'super' hero Gutsman and his female counterpart Tigra. Besides from drawing these comics, Erik has built up quite a reputation being a rather prolific illustrator, his work adorning a variety of magazines, newspapers, theatrical posters, CD sleeves, t- shirts and even skateboards. In between drawing comics and thinking up things to illustrate, Erik likes to draw pretty girls as is clearly evident in the series of pictures showcased in our gallery. Erik Kriek lives and works in Amsterdam.
